Curb Appeal

What is it?

How can you increase it?

Are there landscape techniques you can use to change it?

Curb appeal is about the way people view your home whether your selling or not. In ANY real estate market, buyers will drive past a home that looks tired, cluttered, unkempt, or run down on the outside. They won’t even take a step inside or call the listing agent if they don’t like what they see. Simple to do, easy to afford, and a lot of bang for your buck, landscaping changes and curb appeal make all the difference. It attracts buyers, offers, and for those not selling, satisfaction about the way your home looks

You only get one chance to make a good first impression.

The government of Ontario allowed landscaping companies to return to work in Early May. While the industry breathed a collective sigh of relief to once again be able to perform scheduled maintenance and project installations, OHS is remains committed to ongoing safe operating practices. We do not wish to contribute to any resurgence of cases in the areas we work and as such we are focused on operating safely, conscientiously, and carefully within the rules and procedures as established by Public Health Departments in the regions we operate.

We have instituted the following procedures to be sure that the health of our team members and clients are protected.

In order to operate under these circumstances, it is taking us longer to get to scheduled and new projects. We apologize for any delay, but with these necessary changes to our procedures, we feel that working safely until restrictions are lifted and life returns to normal is our best defense.

A single positive case within our group will result in stringent self monitoring of all and isolation if deemed necessary by Public Health

We monitor temperature, symptoms and advise any team member to stay home if they are ill or presenting symptoms,

We allow a maximum of 3 people per vehicle and wear cloth masks to protect one another,

We maintain physical distancing between workers and clients while on site,

We strive to disinfect our equipment at the start of service at any property,

We wear cloth masks or facial coverings when working on your property if we are unable to maintain safe physical distancing protocols,

We place lawn and organic refuse in compostable bags/containers and place it by your curb for pickup. Garbage and non organic refuse is collected safely and left for weekly/biweekly collection at your residence.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
