Welcome to the Nth wave Covid 19. The Health and Safety of our clients and team members is of the utmost importance to us. As we enter 2022, we continue to follow evolving Public Health Guidelines and Protocols. We mask when traveling in our trucks, and when we are in close proximity to each other and to you, and use hand sanitizer frequently.
A consequence of the ongoing Pandemic is the challenge of material availability. Lumber and building supplies, interlock and wall stone products, Natural Stone, Armour Stone, and virtually all materials used in our construction and installations face extreme and ongoing shortages. 2022 looks to be no different. Projects can be rejigged with alternate materials, delayed until materials are available, or postponed. We're working with our suppliers to maintain downstream purchasing uptake to ensure committed projects can be completed this year.
While pricing remains unpredictable, as we enter the busy season we are being notified regularly by our suppliers of potential price increases driven by supply/demand side economics. We will order your materials as soon as your project is confirmed.
And while it is difficult to provide a confirmed installation date under these conditions, we are doing our best to forecast your installation dates based on the information we have available at the time we receive your commitment to proceed.
Like most in our industry, we are experiencing higher than normal demand. Our clients and prospective clients are spending more time at home, traveling little or not at all, and "Stay-Cationing" is the new norm. As such, we are carefully reviewing all new opportunities and will be forthright and upfront about the probability of performing work for you in 2022 and when. Because the situation is constantly evolving, we will do the best we can, under the circumstances.
As the vaccine becomes more widely available for the general population, our employees and contractors will be asked to be vaccinated to protect them, you, and one another from the virus. Until that time, we will continue to follow Public Health Guidelines while working together and on your property.
